ASME E-Fest Digital (March 25-26, 2022) and affiliated competitions will NOT be held in-person.  They will continue to be virtual for academic year ’21-’22.

What is the Student Design Competition & Prizes

The ASME Student Design Competition provides a platform for ASME Student Members to present their solutions to a range of design problems - from everyday household tasks to groundbreaking space exploration. Each team is required to design, construct and operate a prototype meeting the requirements of an annually determined problem statement.

Prizes

First - $500.00
Second - $300.00 
Third - $150.00

SDC Q&A Forum

Questions about the 2022 ASME SDC will only be accepted until February 1st. The final version of the Q&A will be posted by mid-February.
